The Everest Group of Schools founded by Late Sh. Dina Nath Sharma aspires and continues to achieve soaring heights, following the footsteps of Late Sh. Rajinder Krishan Sharma. He was a great visionary and a pioneer in the field of education. He had been Director of Everest Public Sr. Sec. School, Moti Nagar, and Chairperson of Everest Group of Schools, ever since its inception in 1970. With 80 students on roll at that time, the branches of Everest Group of Schools have progressed rapidly. More than 5000 ex-students are working as doctors, engineers, and in various corporate sectors, following his ideals and footsteps. Mr. Sharma had won various awards and held various important designations during his tenure.

Mr. Rajinder Krishan Sharma had been the President, Association of Affiliated Schools, Punjab. Thereafter, he remained President of Judo Association till his last. Besides, he had been member of PSEB, Advisory Committee.

Mr. Rajinder Krishan Sharma had been a recipient of various awards namely:

a) Education Excellence Award, given by the Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains in 2025.

b) Award for contribution to excellence in education in 2020, by the then Education Minister, Sh. Vijay Singla.

c) He was conferred the title of “Pride of Punjab” by the Ministry of Welfare Society in 2018.

d) He was also awarded in 2012, by the then Transport Minister Sh. Mohan Lal.

In short, Mr. Rajinder Krishan Sharma, had been an excellent mentor, guide, teacher, and above all a true human being. The school is progressing in leaps and bounds following his foot steps.
